How do I use my Thunder Personal Safety Alarm?
We made Thunder as your versatile sidekick with multiple functions:
- Pull the ring to trigger the alarm manually.
- Activate the motion sensor, and the alarm will blast if moved.
- Use the LED flashlight to illuminate dark alleys.
- Get creative—whether it's pranking a friend or staying visible during a night run by using the strobe light (double press on LED flashlight button), our Thunder is ready for action.
How powerful is the alarm sound?
Our Thunder delivers an ear-splitting siren that blasts at over 135dB, reaching up to 140dB.
To put that into perspective, that’s louder than a jackhammer, a jet engine during takeoff, or a live rock concert.

How do I set the motion sensor on/off?
Follow the steps below:
- Press and hold the LED button for 3 seconds until you hear a BEEP.
- You then have 10 seconds to place the alarm in a steady spot.
- The LED will flash once to confirm activation.
If the alarm detects movement, it will blare, and the LED will strobe. To deactivate, press the LED button again.
What happens if I drop the alarm?
No worries—we've built Thunder tough! Thanks to its compact, integrated construction, it can handle impacts and drops like a pro, so you can keep going without missing a beat.
